I know I mentioned yesterday that I'd share a recap of what the girls did when momma was away...but since I wasn't there, that may be a bit difficult. But i do know this...that they packed up Friday afternoon and headed down to Houston to spend some much needed time with their Loli, Pop, Aunts and Uncles (Even Uncle C and Aunt D were in town!) and Cousins.
They played Friday night at Loli & Pops
Went to a wedding Saturday afternoon.
Saw some historic Texas statues.
And by the looks of it, had a ton of fun.
On a side note, since its already April, I thought I'd link up with Sam & Scout and Sarah Bragley and publicly post my goals for the month!
- I've been doing 21 Day Fix or Fix Extreme since January....however, recently, I've been only getting in 4 of the 7 workouts each week. I'd like to get back to 6 per week!
- Blogging. Duh. I've been doing good, but let's face it, sometime in the next month is when the wheels typically fall off.
- Work on the house. We have lots and lots of projects going on, and a never ending honey-do list, which includes such things as shiplap in Little Miss's room, buying her full size bed, organizing the guest room closet, finishing the laundry room (this is probably several projects in one), beadboard in the guest bathroom, moving the gallery wall, hanging the new gallery wall, making curtains for the living room, hanging said curtain, hanging curtains in our bedroom, painting our room. Whew. and the list goes on and on. Let's be realistic, no way I'll be able to get all of that done in one month, but hopefully I can knock out 3 items.
- Finish one of the many books I've started/purchased (more on this later).
- Sleep more. Going to bed at midnight and getting up at 6:30 (okay snoozing until 7) is not a good habit.
- Eat better. We've done a Whole30 in August and most recently January. I love it...and always claim that I am going to stick to it 90% of the time. Whelp, that is so not the case. Here's to starting another Whole30 (plus occassional wine and cake on Claire's baptism day) sometime in April.
And I think that's enough. April will be busy enough. Let's see what all I can accomplish this month!
