My aunt was in town this past weekend -- and we all had such a great time!  Such a great time that it was sad to see her go...and sadly, I did not take very many pictures as we were too busy laughing, catching up, making memories and just plain old having fun.

So here are a couple of phone pics that I managed to snap and as soon as I can get copies of the pictures that my mom and aunt took, I'll be sure to post here.

Thursday
Auntie Barb got in Wednesday night and was able to spend the morning at Little Miss's gymnastics lesson.  I worked from home that day and dinner at Central Market was followed by a fun game of Pie Face.  Everyone had their turn!

Friday
We woke up early and hit the road to go back to Magnolia Market -- it was a great meeting point for us and my mom not only in terms of distance, but also in terms of things to do even for the Littles.  They clearly had a ton of fun playing with the flowers in the store, hula-hooping, ball kicking, relaxing and handstanding on the lawn, playing in the mushroom tee-pee, messing with fairy gardens, petting goats, and eating at the food trucks.  Needless to say, everyone conked out in the car on the way home.

We spent the afternoon at the toy store, where Auntie actually bought them toys (mommy tends to tell them we have no money).  And then headed over to our friends house to swim in their pool and have some dinner.

Saturday
We started the day by heading back to the gym for Littlest Miss's class -- and for the first time, she walked on the balance beam without Mommy's hand!  Wahoo!  Auntie has videos and pics of this somewhere!

Afterwards, we headed downtown and spent the morning at Klyde Warren Park, grabbed lunch at Jimmy Johns and then made our way home for a relaxing evening of pizza, wine, and playing with our new robotic fish and beetles.

But it does remind me about why I started this blog...to capture memories.  But sometimes, the memories that you want to keep can't be captured with a picture as its what your child says.  And trust me, Little Miss has a ton of good ones as of late.

At one point, I had this book...

...and I tried to update it.  Really, I did.  But I didn't do a great job (shocking) and then it got wet in my diaper bag.  And ended up in the trashcan.

But now, there is a new app coming out called Qeepsake

And apparently you can text yourself the things that they say and it will store them for you.  I am excited to try it...but eagerly awaiting its release.  So that's where you come in, if this sounds like something you would want to try, sign up using my link...and if I get 5 more referrals, I'll get early access.  Wahoo!
