So it all started a few months ago when Little Miss would not sleep in her bed all night long.  I was trying to find something that I could bribe her with (so not above that!) that wouldn't break the bank...

...around the same time, she started taking about Shopkins.  I am still not entirely sure where she learned about them, but its likely some combination of "Special Eggs" (this is what she calls youtube and the random video she clicks through to as a result of me letting her watch Surprise Eggs, which if you have kids and you need to mesmerize them, try this.  I swear by it!) and her friends at school.  Needless to say, the combination of her excitement and the price point, I was sold.

So I stocked up.  Little Miss slept through the night.  And her collection grew.

Fast forward a few months, and Auntie Barb was looking for a small gift to get them.  Somehow, she got her hands on these.
We are now the proud owners of the end two!

Needless to say, the girls were disappointed when she had to reschedule her first trip, but that disappointment quickly added once they opened the box.  They were in heaven.  So much so that Littlest Miss didn't even realize that Little Miss stole her two shopkins that came with.  And Auntie Barb was stuck with the dilemma of "beating this gift."

Thus, when she arrived last week she cam armed with this:

And this:

Talk about hit.

The girls haven't stopped playing with them since opening them.  Even Littlest Miss.  She may wake up each morning looking for them and gets upset if she can't find her box.

Aside from the game, "Hide-the-Shopkin" I am not entirely sure what they do with them.

But whatever it is, so long as they have their Shopkins they seem to be happy and that's good enough for this momma!
