Friday is here today. Not only am I excited for the weekend, but more importantly, I am feeling extremely blessed. By lots of things in life. The husband, the job, the healthy baby girl that we'll meet in approximately 16 weeks, and of course Little Miss.
And since I didn't post much this week, especially about her, what a better topic for 5 on Friday than Reese-Roo Blessings?

Monday was an ice day in Dallas. The best part about it was that there really wasn't any ice. Now don't get me wrong it was COLD but at least we could venture out when/if we wanted to, but why would we? Papa was still in town and mommy bit the bullet and purchased Frozen on iTunes. Talk about fun day for all. The only thing that would have made it better was if Papa could have stayed longer!

Aside from our leotards (notice our new one courtesy of Auntie B), our latest obsession is puzzles. And any type of puzzles. We love the wooden Melissa & Doug puzzles, we love our actual Mickey puzzles (6 and 9 pieces and shockingly she can put them all together) and puzzles on the iPad. Needless to say, we've spent lots of time doing puzzles, in our leotard of course.

After months and months of Soccer Shots, I finally made it to a practice. Oh.my.gosh. Watching little two and three year olds running around trying to learn soccer is just the cutest thing.
And some of them are actually pretty good. Little Miss was a little shy and insisted that I do everything with her, but still was able to practice her "skills." Maybe gymnastics isn't her only future sport?

Mommy cuddles are the best. After dinner last night, Little Miss wanted to watch Bubble Guppies (a new favorite show in our house). And with very little convincing, both the Husband and I agreed. First a bit reluctantly at first, but my reluctance quickly faded away when Little Miss crawled into my lap and watched the entire episode like this. Just the sweetest reminder that no matter how big she is getting, she'll always be my baby.

Aside from all the blessings above and in our life in general, I got the sweetest blessing today at Starbucks. While patiently waiting my turn to put in my order (this preggo had not eaten all morning and was starving), the man in front of me bought my drink and just said to have a blessed day. Man, will I ever. And more importantly, now I want to pay it forward to make someone else's day. It really is the little things in life, isn't?
Happy Friday!
Your daughter is adorable!! My daughter likes puzzles as well. The melissa and doug ones are awesome aren't they?
