So I still haven't gotten a bulk of the pictures from this weekend as when others are in town (mostly my mom) I tend to not take as many pictures because (a) I know that they have actual, non-iphone, camera out at all times and (b) I am too busy hosting. However, I do think I have enough pictures stored on my phone to summarize our weekend AND take part of Ten-on-Tuesday.
1. The weekend started out with a haircut for Little Miss. She's been trying to grow her hair out like Elsa, so its been awhile. But it officially looked like a mullet so I made an appointment just before everyone was scheduled to get into town. Of course they were running late. Thankfully, though, there were plenty of toys, sparkly things and a stage to occupy Little Miss.
2. Family time. Lots and lots of family time starting on Friday night. Oh and gifts. The first gift was tattoos from grandma. Lovely. Thankfully, I knew about the baby oil technique and we got them off relatively easy.
3. Birthday parties. Lots of birthday parties. We actually were invited to three birthday parties, but with guests in town and family pictures scheduled, there was no way we could make it to all of them. So we elected two (after Little Miss got really sad about not going to the second). Even two may have been a mistake, but the girls had fun non-the-less.
And only a little bit of a sugar high.
4. I found out that Little Miss can skip
5. Because the bulk of the family was in town (only missing Cody, Diana, Craig, Lauren and Haddon) we did a quick photo shoot Saturday night.
6. More gifts. Loli got the girls another tent, with solar stars. It was definitely a hit!
7. The main event of the weekend was Littlest Miss's baptism. She did great not only during the actual baptism but during the entire service. She definitely loved the music and her head bopping, dancing and clapping was just the cutest.
8. After spotting the as seen on TV water balloon toy, a water balloon fight was a must.
9. Tons of cake and sugar. This may have been the theme of the weekend. It's truly amazing what kids will do for a bribe of sugar.
