Lately, all we want is pancakes.
As in made from scratch pancakes. In the past week alone, we've had your traditional bisquick pancakes, banana/egg pancakes (Littlest Miss devoured this as well), and apple pancakes.
Within seconds they are gone.
And clearly, with nothing pressing to get done this past Saturday morning, she insisted that mommy make pancakes. So I obliged.
And then insisted that we have a pancake photoshoot.
Although based on these pictures, maybe its not the pancakes that she's obsessed with:
Needless to say, mommy got smart. And has a box of blueberry pancakes in the freezer ready for tomorrow morning.
This was just the beginning of a great weekend. More on it later, but in the meantime hope you had a great weekend too! and Happy Monday!

ReplyDeleteHow fun and great photos! Jackson is obsessing over pancakes lately too. I bought a sandwich cutter that cuts things out in the shape of Mickey Mouse and since then, he's been obsessed with anything I can cut in that shape. Pancakes, grilled cheese, peanut butter sandwiches, etc. This age is so much fun!!
ReplyDeleteJust adorable! I should start making pancakes for M again too. She usually just gets milk, cheerios, and some fruit. Maybe I'll add a few chocolate chips in there for her as a surprise :) Love that high chair your little guy is in!

ReplyDeleteLove this! My mom always had pre made dry mix waiting for those days we wanted to have pancakes! And they are always amazingly yum so we have to indulge like kiddies somedays!

ReplyDeleteSo far we've just made the three (it's a new obsession) but she did devour the premade/boxed blueberry pancakes this morning and I've been trying to pin a variety of recipes to try. Thinking it may be come our Saturday morning tradition!
