Sisterly Love

In the past 18 weeks, Little Miss has gone from the only child to a Big Sister.  To say it was a smooth ride would be an understatement.  However, despite wanting to "bring" her baby sister back on numerous occassions, somewhere along the way, Little Miss transformed into the worlds best big sister.  seriously.

We have lots of sisterly love going on here.

For example, last night, I was finishing up dinner when Little Miss asked for a banana.  And although she loves bananas to the point where she'll typically ask for a second one, she immediately shared with her sister.  Little bites on her finger.  Talk about heart melting adorable.  I just wish I had gotten a picture of it (silly dead iPhone battery).

And maybe this sisterly love isn't something that should shock me.  Especially once I found this picture from our newborn session.

Despite not wanting to have any pictures taken and being in full blown toddler mode, the love was apparent.  Even then.

I cannot wait to see the love and bond between them grow.

And Little Miss, if you read this one day, you are seriously the best little girl and big sister that Mommy and Daddy could have asked for.  We love you to the moon and back.
