Size of Baby: By this week, your baby weighs 2 1/4 pounds (about the size of a large eggplant) and measures 14.8 inches from the top of her head to her heels. She can blink her eyes, which now sport lashes. With her eyesight developing, she may be able to see the light that filters in through your womb. She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I thought about hopping on the scale this morning, more so to weigh little miss, but the husband moved it (a) to a corner where its not accurate and (b) had shoes on it. Laziness won and I skipped out on hopping on the scale. I'll find out for sure tomorrow at my appointment. My best guess is somewhere in the 6 - 8 pound range.
Maternity Clothes: Same old, same old. Maternity pants and/or belly band. Normal shirts and dresses. Although I did cave and order 2 shirts and 2 dresses from Target this week. Hoping they'll get me by the next 10 weeks of work.
Gender: More pink and tu-tus. Another sweet baby GIRL!
Movement: A lot. And some of it is painful. I can only hope that the painful movements are Littlest Miss trying to flip herself around (at 24 weeks she was breached with her head nestled in my ribs)
Food Cravings: Anything sweet. Ice cream, cookies, candy, you name it. I continue to crave rice krispy treats but must refrain from making them as I will eat the entire batch in a matter of a day.
What I miss: Not feeling exhausted. And being able to go for a long run. Part of me really wants to right now, but before I can lace up my shoes, exhaustion takes over and I settle for a long walk. But otherwise, nothing I can't live without.
Sleep: Sleep is great. I have no trouble falling asleep and once I am out, I am out. And for at least 8 hours a night if not more.
Symptoms: Slowly, starting. Bump, lack of energy, some back pain, and this week some BH contractions. Ugh. This is clearly the point were I stop enjoying being pregnant and start wishing for her arrival.
Best Moment this week: Hmmm...this week went quickly that I can't recall any one best moment! Movement and watching Reese love on her little. So sweet.
What I am looking forward to: Lots. My shower which is scheduled for the end of may. Getting things for her nursery (purchased a sheet and the crib skirt yesterday), figuring out her name (if only we could figure it out, she'd get one of these oh-too-sweet bunnies like her big sis), and of course...meeting her.
You look great! I'm a few weeks behind you, also with a baby girl. We're still struggling to come up with a name too. It's so hard!
