Things to do...
Although we still have 17 weeks until when littlest miss is suppose to join us, I have a feeling that the time will continue (as I've said week in and week out) to fly by. And although I am super excited to meet her, part of me is sad over the fact that we'll no longer just be a family of three. In part because Reese is at such a great age right now. As in fun. And we can go and do things. And to see her experience things for the first time is absolutely amazing. Thus, the main focus (aside from staying healthy and growing a healthy littlest miss) is to spend as much quality time with our little family of three.
I am not saying we have to do "big" things every weekend. Because let's face it, sometimes the best, most memorable days are those days where you stay in PJs all day, watching movies and just hanging out. But there are a few things around Dallas that I would like to do with Reese before she becomes a big sister
1. Trolley Ride
We've taken Reese to Klyde Warren Park several times. However, we have yet to take her on a trolley ride. I've always thought she would enjoy it and after talking to several other toddler moms I am now convinced that she'll love it.
2. Dallas Zoo
We've been to the Fort Worth Zoo (which I've heard is better than the Dallas Zoo), but something tells me that we still need to check out the Dallas one. Even if its just to ultimately say that we've been there.
3. Dallas Aquarium
Little miss loves fish. Loves fish tanks. Everytime she sees one she is truly memorized. Thus, I cannot wait to take her to a place where she is surrounded by water and fish.
4. Rangers Game
Both the husband and I huge baseball fans. We wanted to take her to her first game last year, but given her age (not quite one and a half in April/May) and the summer heat in Dallas, we never were able to find a game that worked. However, there are a couple of Sunday afternoon games this April so hopefully we can bring her to her first baseball game. Even if mommy and daddy and Cubs fans!
5. Dallas Arboretum
They recently added a new Children's garden which I've heard great things about. Plus, its educational. What more could a momma want!
And with that, time to get the work day started so I can get home to Little Miss and the husband!
Oh, goodness, these things make me so ready for summer! I'm not crazy about baseball, but I would love to go to a game... just because it seems like the perfect way to spend a nice summer day! ha. can you tell I'm missing the sunshine? :) You all will have so much fun doing these things!
