Back at it

It's happened again...

...I've neglected my blog.  And I feel bad about it.  There is so much that I've wanted to write up, photograph, share, etc.  But I just haven't.  Part of it is because I do lack time, but part of it is merely deciding what to write about.  Sometimes the options are just endless.  Thus, in an attempt to get back on the blogging bandwagon of for the 100th time, I've figured out a schedule that will hopefully help me stick with it.

Mondays - Weekend Recap
Tuesday - House Progress (because we are in the progress of building a new house)
Wednesdays - Reese.  100% Reese.
Thursdays - Baby 2.0.  Say what?!?! Yup, that's one thing that has yet to be announced on the blog
Friday - Optional/5-on-Fridays/No blog day

We'll see if this works.  And I'll start now.  But first things first, because obviously, I haven't shared our biggest news -- our family is expanding to four (well 5 if you count Wrigley) in June.  We announced it to our close friends and family in a couple of ways.  Some good friends, we just told out right.  For Husbands parents and brother and SIL, we announced via a onesie for brother and SIL's new little that said "Middle Cousin."  For other family members, little miss sported her this adorable t-shirt.

(and yes, that is the positive pregnancy test in her hand.  This may be the actual picture of how we told daddy, in an email titled, Reese has a secret)

For everyone else, we announced via pictures.  Either this picture on our Christmas card:

or this picture on Facebook Christmas morning:

Needless to say, we are very, very excited.  I am currently 16 weeks and 4 days along and slowly starting to feel better (more on that Thursday!) and cannot believe that we'll meet Baby # 2.0 in 24 weeks or less!  Eeks!

As for this past weekend, it was pretty low key.  Friday night I got stuck at work late so we just vegged around the apartment, had dinner, caught up on some TV shows, and went to bed early!  Saturday, started out pretty typically -- Little Gym, Starbucks, Costco, lunch and nap.  Only little miss didn't want to nap.  After 2.5 hours of "quiet time" in her room, she finally got her shut eye.  Needless to say, my grand plans of shopping and doing some Xmas returns quickly went out the window.

Speaking of Starbucks, Little Miss (a) now expects post-Little Gym Starbucks dates each week and (b) knows exactly what she wants.  Apple juice and cake pops.  Pink ones' only.  Little Miss has good taste.  And definitely inherited her momma's sweet tooth.  Plus, its super sweet that most weeks it turns into a post-gym date with one of her little gym friends!

Back to the weekend, we then spent Saturday night just hanging out at a friends house eating pizza, followed by Church on Sunday, checking out the house, two trips to the playground and weekly grocery shopping.

Exciting weekend? Not really.  Exactly the type of weekend we needed? Yup!

Happy week y'all!
