The last two and a half weeks

Admittedly, there have been a lack of blog posts.  Heck, my last post was on June 5th --when I was 37 weeks pregnant with Littlest Miss.  A lot as happened since then...

...we had our initial walk through of the house on Tuesday June 10, 2014, which resulted in a very long punch list.

...we ended up closing on our house on Friday June 13, 2014.  Glad to be in the house, not excited about how long closing took or the long punch list that the builder had to address

...we were able to reschedule the movers to accommodate the new closing date.  Mover group # 1 was scheduled for Sunday, June 15, 2014 and mover group # 2 was scheduled for Monday, June 16, 2014.

...we successfully moved the bulk of our stuff out of the apartment and into the house on Sunday, June 15, 2014 and unpacked a handful of boxes...including making our bed...

...and most importantly, we welcomed Claire McKenzie on Monday June 16, 2014

Born at 3:07 PM -- 19.5 inches long and 6 lbs 12 ounces

First "sticker"  -- so what if it was taken when she was a week old and not on her birth date 

Needless to say, its been a crazy couple of weeks.  But everyone is happy and healthy and adjusting nicely to our family of four and our new house!  I promise to post more soon, including pics of the house, updates of Little Miss, and of course more on Littlest Miss
